      DE8BC series is a flameproof / explosion‑proof Ex d enclosure manufactured from high‑grade stainless steel AISI 316L and designed for use in hazardous ATEX/IECEx environments worldwide. Certified for Ex d IIB and IIB + H2, it is suitable even for hydrogen‑rich atmospheres and demanding industrial applications. The enclosures can be supplied empty with a U‑component certificate or fully assembled according to customer requirements.

      They can be configured as direct Ex d entry or as an Ex de combination for indirect cable entry. Multiple enclosures may also be mounted together on a frame with separate or shared Ex e/i junction boxes.
