The DE8BC range consists of flameproof Ex d enclosures manufactured in painted carbon steel, designed for use in ATEX and IECEx hazardous areas. The enclosures are certified for IIB + H₂, making them suitable for hydrogen‑related installations.
They can be supplied empty with a U component certificate or fully assembled according to customer requirements. The range supports Ex d direct cable entry or Ex de indirect entry configurations. Multiple enclosures can also be mounted on a frame with separate or common Ex e/i junction boxes.
